Demonstration of Interest

UNVEIL is currently recruiting 1 Doctoral Candidate (DC2), hosted by one beneficiary institution in Italy, as part of its interdisciplinary doctoral training network. The DC will be employed full-time under national legislation and MSCA Work Programme provisions.

UNVEIL brings together research and training activities covering nondestructive evaluation (THz, ultrasound, IR thermography), spectral and surface imaging, multimodal data fusion and visualisation (Digital Twins, AR), and heritage science. The programme also includes network-wide training, transferable skills development, international secondments, and joint supervision.

The DC2 position is currently open for recruitment, with an expected start date in 2026. Further information on the research topic, eligibility criteria, application procedure, and contact point is provided in the specific DC2 advertisement below.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must :
✅ Not already hold a doctoral degree
✅ Be enrolled in or eligible for a doctoral programme according to national legislation
✅ Comply with the MSCA mobility rule : in general, they must not have resided or carried out their main activity in the country of the recruiting organisation for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before their recruitment date
